Zain Sphere – Connecting Knowledge across One Zain

Innovation thrives when knowledge is shared, collaboration is encouraged, and expertise is accessible. Recognizing the opportunity to strengthen groupwide collaboration and unlock the collective intelligence of all Zainers, Abdullah Abu Karaki introduced Zain Sphere through ZAINIAC.

Zain Sphere is a collaborative environment designed to reduce knowledge gaps between Zain OPCOs, foster innovation, strengthen cross-functional learning, and generate new ideas that enhance the way we operate as One Zain. This initiative addresses a common challenge faced by large organizations: valuable knowledge and expertise often exist within individual teams or markets but are not easily accessible across the wider organization.

Supported by Vanguard Doaa Abu Shariah and Enabler Odai Abu Jazo, this project created a channel where employees can connect, exchange experiences, seek advice, and collaborate on solving business challenges. Through Zain Sphere, employees are able to leverage the expertise of colleagues across different OPCOs, creating opportunities for faster problem-solving, innovation, and operational excellence. The goal is to help employees make more informed decisions and share best practices while reducing duplication of effort across the OPCOs.

We’re currently running a pilot with the Enterprise Engineering and Enterprise Marketing teams to gather feedback. As Zain Sphere opens up to more teams and OPCOs, we will further strengthen collaboration and reinforce the One Zain culture.
