AI Awareness Session – Don’t Just Consume AI. Create With It.

Dec. 3, 2025

On December 1st, ZAINIAC conducted an AI awareness session designed to inspire Zainers to move beyond passive consumption and step confidently into the role of creators.

The session, delivered by Ali Safieh, took participants on a journey through the evolution of AI, from the early days of expert systems to today’s transformative LLMs and agentic models. The audience explored how AI can fuel creativity, empower problem-solving, and elevate human potential when used thoughtfully and responsibly.

Ali Safieh is a Data Science and AI Specialist with deep expertise in machine learning, natural language processing, and applied AI solutions. He previously served as the Data Science & AI Manager at Zain Jordan and Senior Data Science Specialist at Zain Kuwait, driving strategic adoption of AI across the organization. Before joining Zain, he worked as an NLP/ML Engineer at Wiley. His master’s thesis and published research focuses on machine learning, speech recognition, and database systems.

The session addressed some of the most pressing challenges in the AI landscape, including the risks of over-reliance, misinformation, and misplaced trust. Participants engaged in discussions about the importance of human judgment, originality, and ethical awareness in an AI-driven world.

To ensure practical value, the session included hands-on exposure to cutting-edge tools, open-source agentic AI, and a practical prompt-engineering cheat sheet designed to help employees turn ideas into impactful applications.

This idea was submitted by Muhsen Alsaad from ZainTech, with the support of Vanguard Abbas Terani and Enabler Ali Safieh. Their dedication and collaboration brought forward a timely and impactful learning experience for the organization.

Due to the strong engagement during this session, ZAINIAC will now be conducting quarterly AI learning sessions targeting an even wider audience. Consider this the start of a long-term journey where we continue empowering teams to work with AI, not just as users, but as innovators who confidently push boundaries.
