Through ZAINIAC, Mohammed Bahloul proposed an innovative solution enabling customers to purchase OTT service vouchers, such as Shahid, Jo Academy, beIN, PlayStation, etc., directly from Zain POS locations via the EVD app. With this solution, customers can instantly enjoy the services they love without needing a card.

This idea, brought to life with the support of Vanguard Waleed Abu Gharbieh and Enabler Osama Saleem, adds convenience for our customers and enhances Zain’s role as a digital lifestyle enabler.

After receiving the approval from the Consumer Business team, the IT department collaborated closely with OTT vendors to seamlessly integrate the voucher platform into Zain Jordan’s backend systems, ensuring a smooth and reliable experience for users. The team is now in the final stages of signing with their first OTT partner, an exciting milestone that paves the way for many more partnerships in the near future.

To further strengthen this offering, DPI tools will be used to identify and prioritize OTT platforms based on traffic volumes and user activity, ensuring that Zain always brings the most relevant services to its customers.
