Zain Green Rewards - Incentivizing Customers at Zain Kuwait to Protect the Environment

Sept. 17, 2024

On September 17, 2024, Zain launched a new trade-in service, incentivizing customers to contribute to environmental protection. This idea, submitted by Webster Ian Martin and led by Vanguard Abbas Terani, allows customers to trade their old devices in exchange for special rewards, including free months on new commitments. This initiative not only offers valuable perks to participants but also aligns with Zain's mission to promote sustainability and reduce its environmental footprint.

The trade-in service was launched in collaboration with Zain Kuwait’s Marketing teams: Postpaid Consumer and Marketing Product Development teams. Customers can now exchange their outdated devices for discounts and other rewards, giving them an extra incentive to make eco-friendly choices. This initiative will help reduce electronic waste while offering tangible benefits to customers who are making environmentally responsible decisions.

In preparation for the launch, branch employees were trained to ensure they were equipped to guide customers through the trade-in process and explain the program’s benefits. This training, led by Abbas Terani, ensured a seamless customer experience, making it easy and rewarding for Zain customers to participate.

This marks a key step forward in Zain's sustainability journey.
